Short-term and vacation rental management in Los Angeles

Villa Home Studios manages Los Angeles homes as short-term and vacation rentals for their owners. We handle bookings on Airbnb and our own site, every guest, cleaning, upkeep, city registration and hotel tax on direct stays, plus film and photo productions. Owners get a live portal and a statement each month.

Everything between a booking and your payout

How does short-term rental management work with Villa Home Studios?

It takes three steps.

  • An estimate for your address: we check local short-term rental rules and estimate what the home can earn.
  • We prepare the home: photography, the listing, pricing, a smart lock, supplies, cleaning checklists and a private guide for every guest.
  • You get paid each month: we handle every guest and every clean, and you see it all live.

Where do your guests come from?

Travelers who book through Airbnb or directly on villahomestudios.com, and film and photo productions. Productions pay separately for shoot days, under a signed location agreement and their own insurance.

What makes Villa Home Studios different?

We are veteran owned and come from building and real estate management. Repairs are judged by people who know how a home is built, and every owner can see every booking, payout and expense as it happens.

Common questions

Can my Los Angeles home be a short-term rental?

In the City of Los Angeles, stays under 30 nights are allowed only in the host's primary residence (where they live more than six months a year) with a Home-Sharing registration, up to 120 nights a year unless the host qualifies for Extended Home-Sharing. Rent-stabilized and income-restricted units are not eligible. Other cities in LA County set their own rules. We check your address before anything is listed.

How much does Villa Home Studios charge?

Every home is different, so we tailor the arrangement to yours. We walk you through it on a first call and agree on everything in writing before we start.

What is the longest stay you accept?

Direct stays are capped at 28 nights, and every direct guest signs our rental agreement before arrival.

Do you collect hotel tax?

Yes. We collect hotel tax (Transient Occupancy Tax) on direct stays and keep city registration current.

Which areas do you serve?
