We collect only what you give us and what the site needs to work.

• Contact and owner forms: your name, email, phone, the property address or neighborhood, bedrooms, and anything you write to us.
• The chat assistant: your messages and the assistant's replies. If you send the chat to our team, we also keep the transcript and the name, phone and email you give.
• Booking requests: your name, email, phone, dates, number of guests, the purpose of the stay or shoot, and your signature on the rental agreement. Card payments go through our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Emails to hello@villahomestudios.com: the sender, subject and message.
• Owner and team accounts: name, username, email, and the work done in the app, such as tasks, photos and notes.
• Basic technical data from our hosting provider, such as pages visited, device type and browser.

• To answer your questions and prepare income estimates for owners.
• To review, confirm and manage bookings, guest guides and stays.
• To run the homes we manage and keep owners informed.
• To take payments and keep business and tax records.
• To keep the site and our accounts secure and to stop spam and abuse.
• To meet our legal obligations.

We share personal information only with companies that help us run the site and the business, and only what they need for that job: hosting and database, email sending, payment processing, and the AI service that writes the chat assistant's replies.

Owners can see the bookings for their own home. We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect guests, homes or our business.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for targeted advertising.

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and to limit how we use sensitive personal information. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email hello@villahomestudios.com or call 818-518-8731. We confirm your identity by matching the contact details we already have before we act. Someone you authorize in writing may also ask for you. We answer within 45 days.

We use only what the site needs to work. Owners and team members stay signed in through storage in their browser. The chat keeps your conversation in your browser tab until you close it. We do not use advertising cookies.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Booking, payment and tax records are kept as long as tax and business record laws require. You can ask us to delete messages and chat transcripts at any time.

We use reasonable safeguards and limit access to the people on our team who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you think something is wrong.

This site is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new effective date.
